What a good time for the All-Star break as the Orioles have lost 4 of 5 coming into the break. Also, they extended there Sunday loss streak to 14 games, awesome. Neither pitcher yesterday looked like they had their best stuff, it looked like the batters didn't either. I am having trouble with something to say because I am not liking the situation right now.
As I have said about 100 times before, and what yesterdays game made as obvious as the outfield grass being green, the Orioles are in DESPERATE need of a short stop. Hopefully something changes soon at that spot, or we can blow more winnable games.
Note: Melvin Mora stranded 11 out of the 15 base runners stranded in yesterday's game.
As for me I will have to wait until Mr. McPhail makes some moves for a short stop to stop complaining. But until then we have tonight's home run derby at 8, and then the All-Star game tomorrow, have fun and lets go O's.
