That's the sound you could hear as far away as Philadelphia last night, coming from the bats of the Baltimore Orioles. With 13 runs and every starter getting a hit, you would've thought Liz was pitching, and we had lost, BUT it was thankful Jeremey Guthrie who got the win last night. Known, for his lack of run support Guthrie was able to work on a hitch in his delivery last night without much to worry about, must have been an odd feeling for him.
Other news is that Dennis Sarfate will make his first start of the season Wednesday in the Bronx, taking the spot in the rotation from Brian Burress, who was demoted to the bull-pen. Hopefully that will shake things up enough.
50-55, the Orioles record, meaning that in the next 57 games the O's need to go 31-26 to finish out the season at exactly .500, possible. But they will need to continue the trend of these last two games of getting quality starts from their pitchers, and if they don't, expect to see a few minor leaguers in Orange and Black in September.
Tonight is Daniel Cabrera vs. Darell Rasner at 7:05 PM, please, please be good Danny tonight. Please? LETS GO O'S!!
