Here we go...
The Orioles are 20-9 in the first game of s series this year compare that to 27-26 last year, if they can keep it up, that's is a huge improvement.
The Orioles are 18-19 when giving up a run in the first inning, meaning they are 26- 24 when they do not, not a huge disparity, but something I wouldn't mind to see change.
Daniel Cabrera is 4-7 in 14 games at Toronto in his career, he also has two complete games, and the Orioles are 7-7 when he takes the mound up north.
George Sherrill got the nod to represent the Orioles in the upcoming All-Star game at Yankee Stadium, he has 27 saves, good enough for second in the AL in that category.
Aubrey Huff was named AL player of the week for last week, going 10-29 (.345) with 3 doubles, 3 home runs, and 9 RBI's. He beat out Nick Markakis, A-Rod, and Roy Halladay.
Adam 'Boom Boom' Jones is hitting .282, way up from the .230's he was hitting earlier in the year. He has seen his average, RBI's and runs scored steadily increase as the season progresses.
Nick Markakis has a 14 game hit streak going 21-55 (.382) during his career best streak. He has almost double his walks as of this time last year, and is currently tied for second place in the AL with 8 outfield assists.
