Only 4 More Days

Thankfully there are only four more days until the All-Star break, I don't think I could handle it if there was no break. And thankfully Jeremy 'Guts' Guthrie is pitching tonight, I love watching him work. Last night came close to what I prescribed we needed, hopefully it will be enough to win tonight's game, and then we travel to the dangerous Red Sox to play three games in Fenway.

Nick Markakis extended his hitting streak to 16 games, hitting about .400 in that span, raising his average to .303. Adam Jones, Aubrey Huff, and Brian Roberts also have been hitting lights out. But it always seems, for the Orioles at least, that when one thing is going well another is slumping big time, pitching. The team ERA that was once at 3.80 in May is now at 4.80, in baseball a whole run more on an ERA IS a big deal.

Hey Guts, show some tonight and shake off this loosing streak.
