Well the defense looked good last night, pitching on the other hand was the reason we lost the game. Olson had another disappointing start, not able to go 5 innings, thankfully though we held the lead, then lost it, then held it again, and then lost it again.
Because of being overworked the bullpen has called upon young arms to fill spots. Young and inexperienced arms, with control problems, cannot help when the game is on the line. Moving forward though it becomes clearer and clearer every day that what this team REALLY needs, is starting pitching. We will have to wait until the young studs in AA Bowie Baysox are called upon, hopefully in September, but most likely in Spring Training.
Tonight is Guthrie vs. Burnett. Burnett is like a more polished Daniel Cabrera, so, hopefully we get bad AJ tonight. Lets keep the bats hot and lets get some run support for the only guy who deserves it. LETS GO O'S!
