We need pitching-skip-scratch-we need pitching-skip-scratch-we need pitching. How many times does the offense need to comeback to win a game? This problem is starting to get so ridiculous in my mind, but I don't have a solution. There has to be someone other than Jeremy Guthrie who can pitch a decent game regularly right?
Anyways, lets highlight the positives, Aubrey Huff extended his career/this years club's best hitting streak to 19 games last night with a home run. The offense looks red hot, but when we only need to bull pen to hold the lead, they can't and when we need them to stop the bleeding, they can't.
Dear Santa,
For Christmas this year I would like 4 pitchers that can pitch like Guthrie, oh and may I also have a few bull pen pitchers that can lock down a game when necessary? And if you have enough room in that bag of yours, grab a short stop, and some big guy who grew up in MD and plays for the best team in baseball.
